Following in the footsteps of O.W. Gurley, the founder of the original "Black Wall Street", who wanted to create "something for Black people by Black people", we're building an online community to continue the legacy of building Black wealth - together.

A proud alumnus of Hampton University and a brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., John's passion for entrepreneurship, personal finance, and economic/community development, along with the values The Black Wall Street represents - self-determination, economic empowerment, and opportunity creation - were all driving factors for him to create the Black Wall Street Movement.
